The GEN III Soft Shell Cold Weather Trousers are designed for use in moderate to cold weather conditions as a soft shell combined with other base and insulative layers.

Constructed with stretchable and breathable water resistant materials, the Trousers provide light-weight, low bulk and extreme comfort for movement.

ECWCS GEN III Level V clothing is designed for moderate to cold weather when worn with base and insulation levels. These Level V soft shell cold weather jackets and trousers are made from stretchable and breathable material with a water resistant surface. Lightweight and less bulky than previous ECWCS clothing systems, the Level V jacket uses a two-way zipper with a wind flap and ventilation under the sleeves. Velcro fasteners are also added to the jacket for rank and name plates.
