The GEN III Soft Shell Cold Weather Trousers are designed for use in moderate to cold weather conditions as a soft shell combined with other base and insulative layers.

Constructed with stretchable and breathable water resistant materials, the Trousers provide light-weight, low bulk and extreme comfort for movement.

GEN III Level VI is a waterproof barrier shell layer designed to be worn over other ECWCS levels. For moderate to cold and wet conditions, Level VI is an extreme wet and cold weather jacket and trousers layer worn between freezing and thawing temperatures. GEN III Level VI is made from two-layer GORE-TEX and seam sealed to be lightweight, windproof, and breathable. With 50 percent less bulk than previous ECWCS clothing systems, Level VI should be combined with base and insulation layers for full protection. The level, additionally, has infrared signature reduction technology to further enhance the user’s survival.
