I bought these pants to hunt in, I thought if these are designed to be worn by our troops to hunt down terrorist in some of the harshest environments all of the world then they will for damn sure work for hunting down anything in Texas. Anyone that has hunted in Texas knows that the terrain is always changing and the environment will absolutely eat up your clothing after you put in a good day of stalking. Im totally impressed with these pants so far, i love the multi cam pattern because it really fits in good with were im at. Im blown away with how comfortable they are, i bout mine a little long and i love them. In cold weather conditions i could put Under Armor on under these and not feel like my leg is fighting for room. I got a good 5.11 belt for these pants and together its a great match. I will always go the extra bit and pay for the good stuff because it sucks when your equipment fails because its cheap. Im not worried about these pants at all. Thanks Tactical Distributors. I have been through multiple tactical pants brands and found my new company in Vertx. After buying three pairs of 5.11s and being disappointed when all three (even in the same exact size) fit altogether differently. Contrary to the 5.11, the Vertx are very consistant. If you are looking for an actual combat pant for hard use ( for actual combat!)Price Value Quality
I would go for Crye. If you are a SWAT operator, say for a county with a mix of urban and wooded areas, these are for you. If you need lightwieght speed and camo stealth you got it! (Posted on 10/15/10)

- Well-designed pants that fit well and allow full range of motion, with great pockets that use a flap instead of velcro or a zipper; I've climbed in them and never had anything fall out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them! Review by David All my reviews (1)

These are the best cargo pants I've ever had the pleasure of wearing; they fit well, allowing a full range of motion, and the cargo pockets have a really nice design! Easy to open (just slip your hand in) but still secure, with no noisy velcro.Price Value Quality
The ripstop fabric is more comfortable than the regular VertX Cotton/Lycra blend, due to it having such a light weight. I'd really like to see VertX ripstop pants in other colors, multicam is too eye catching to wear out-and-about sometimes, unlike the discreet VertX khakis that could pass for dress pants.
The only real con I've come across is that the secret pocket zipper pull will catch on my spyderco civilian's round hole opener when I draw it... slightly unnerving with such a large blade. Doesn't happen too often, but I'm considering covering the pull with something so I don't have to worry about it (Posted on 10/9/10)
