ITW Nexus NA I believe makes lots of military/tactical small accessory items, like the locking, small self cleaning Grimloc carabiner, of which I'm a fan. These can be seen as the "poor man's" non locking Grimloc, even though the prices are very comparable for both products, I think ITW calls these their "Tac Link" on their North American site...these are great for simple tasks like clipping your car keys to a belt keeper or 5.11 tdu style belt...or my first day out today with my Leatherman Skeletool hanging off one of these inside my jacket, your imagination is the only real limit. These are tough, light, & silent, unlike say metal "S biners" from Nite Ize, people can hear you coming from 5 miles away when you wear a metal 'biner with your car/house/work keys...These have a fairly strong springy gate, & I'm sure I'll find more uses as time goes on. Not bad at all, very rugged. (Posted on 11/18/11)
