This is an awesome boot, although with a very odd fit. I'm not sure why when shoe/boot manufacturers offer wide sizing they feel the need to make their regular lasts different. I normally wear a 12 Nike and ordered a 12-regular in this boot. When I first tried them on once they arrived the toe-cup was totally restricting, just beneath the first lace-holes. There's no way it was bearable. Before exchanging them for a 12-wide, however, I threw out the Rocky insoles and replaced them with some Spencos... making the boot one of the most comfortable I've ever had on my feet.

Looking at the Rocky insoles for this boot, they are ridiculously tick/padded. Only time, and an extended march, will tell if all of this boots cushion was incorporated into the insole and not the last and sole like a proper shoe (I'm curious if that's why the Rocky insoles were so thick).
