Arc'teryx PRO Alpha LT Pant (GEN 2.2)
Rain Layer. Zero Dead Weight.
The Arc'teryx PRO Alpha LT Pant (GEN 2.2) is a lightweight, packable shell built for full-spectrum combat and law enforcement operations in wet weather. It delivers waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® protection without turning your lower half into a bulky storm system, making it easy to stash until conditions go bad.
The military fit leaves room for cold-weather layering, while a high-rise elasticized waist with adjustable nylon webbing helps dial in the fit over base layers or uniform pants. Full-length side zips make it easy to get the Alpha LT on and off without removing your boots, and those same zips can be opened strategically for ventilation when output climbs.
At the cuffs, a drawcord closure cinches securely over boots, with vertically routed adjustment to reduce snag risk. The reinforced instep takes the abuse from footwear, terrain, and repeated field use, while the front fly remains accessible under load carriage equipment.
At just 13.4 oz, the Alpha LT is built to disappear into your kit until the weather decides to become everyone’s problem.

Why We Love It
This is exactly what a wet-weather shell pant should be: light enough to actually carry, easy to throw on over boots, and tough enough for real field use. The full side zips are the big win here, giving you fast layering and ventilation without turning a weather change into a full wardrobe change.
