More Room. Less Roughing It.

The NEMO Aurora™ Backpacking Tent & Footprint proves that heading into the backcountry doesn't mean you have to give up personal space. Designed to deliver an impressive amount of interior room without weighing down your pack, the Aurora is built for backpacking trips, weekend camping, and anyone who appreciates a little extra elbow room after a long day outdoors.

The secret is in the vertical sidewalls and oversized doors, which create a spacious interior with enough room to comfortably sit side by side without feeling like you're playing Tetris with your camping buddy. Whether you're waiting out bad weather, organizing your gear, or calling it a night, the Aurora makes spending time inside your tent a whole lot more enjoyable.

A lightweight aluminum pole system with a custom forged hub from NEMO's Elements™ hardware collection provides a dependable framework while keeping pack weight in check. Inside, dedicated gear pockets keep smaller essentials organized and within reach, while overhead Nightlight Pockets™ diffuse the light from your headlamp to create a softer, more comfortable glow. No more accidentally blinding your tentmate every time you need to find something.

When it's time to pack up, the Divvy Cube™ stuff sack makes the Aurora easier to fit into your backpack. Remove the poles and split the load with a friend for more efficient packing and weight distribution.

The Aurora also takes a smarter approach to sustainability, using a PFAS- and flame-retardant chemical-free fabric suite and a bluesign® approved recycled floor. A matching footprint is included, providing an extra layer of protection against rough ground, abrasion, and everyday campsite wear.

Big comfort. Smart packing. Less compromise.
