Armor plates are built for protection, not necessarily comfort. The Ferro Concepts Plate Comfort Pads add a layer of cushioning between your plates and your body to help reduce pressure points and hot spots during extended wear.
The trim-to-fit design lets you customize each pad to match your specific plate shape instead of settling for a one-size-fits-most profile. They're compatible with most armor plates from Small/8x10 through X-Large/11x14 and measure approximately 5/16" thick.
Beyond comfort, the pads can also help improve plate fitment. If you're running thinner or oddly sized plates that leave extra room inside the plate bag, the pads help take up some of that space for a more secure fit.

Fit Note: Plates measuring 1" thick or greater may not leave enough room for the Comfort Pads in some plate carriers.
