NEMO Moonlite™ Elite Reclining Backpacking Chair
Luxury Packs Light.
Who says backpacking chairs have to be bulky? The NEMO Moonlite™ Elite Reclining Backpacking Chair weighs just 1.2 pounds, delivering premium comfort without turning your pack into dead weight. Whether you're unwinding after a long day on the trail, glassing the next ridgeline, or soaking in a sunrise with coffee in hand, the Moonlite Elite proves that comfort is worth carrying.
Designed from the ground up for ultralight adventures, the Moonlite Elite replaces traditional webbing with a cutting-edge suspension system made from HTP and Dyneema® cordage—materials trusted in rock climbing and sailing for their exceptional strength and weather resistance. Inspired by climbing belay devices, the innovative hardware provides smooth, effortless reclining while keeping weight to an absolute minimum.
NEMO didn't stop there. The forged aluminum hubs and molded corner mounts have been strategically skeletonized, trimming every unnecessary gram without sacrificing strength. The custom-engineered post-consumer recycled mesh seat cradles your body with seamless construction and rotating attachment points that eliminate pressure spots, so you can sit comfortably long after the trail is behind you.
When it's time to move, everything packs neatly into the included Platform Pack™ carrying case, which doubles as a stability platform on soft ground like sand or loose soil. Lightweight, packable, and ridiculously comfortable, the Moonlite Elite earns its place in any serious backpacking kit.

Why We Love It
Most lightweight camp chairs make you choose between comfort and pack weight. The Moonlite Elite refuses to compromise. It packs small enough for backpacking, reclines when you want to kick back, and is comfortable enough that you'll find yourself lingering around camp just a little longer. It's one of those pieces of gear that makes every trip better.
