Meet the OTB Boots Pirata Low, the next evolution in maritime tactical footwear. Built by the original designers of the Altama Maritime Assault Boot, the Pirata Series was developed to handle the transition between water and land without sacrificing performance. Because the last thing you need is footwear that quits halfway through the mission.

The Pirata Low combines the support of a tactical boot with the lightweight comfort of a running shoe. A full-length Fusion Plate embedded in the midsole provides rigidity and stability, especially when climbing caving ladders or navigating demanding terrain. Meanwhile, the Future Foam midsole delivers responsive cushioning and support, even under the weight of a fully loaded ruck.

When things get wet, the Pirata Low is ready. Strategically placed drainage ports allow water to escape while helping keep debris out. A 360° seamless Air Mesh lining, non-absorbent PE foam, and breathable mesh tongue work together to promote quick drying and extended comfort after exiting the water. The removable Contoura® Insite® PU footbed adds water-friendly cushioning without absorbing moisture.

Underfoot, high-abrasion Grip Stik rubber provides slip-resistant traction on wet surfaces. Durable 1000D CORDURA® side panels stand up to demanding environments, while the seamless PU-laminated eyestay eliminates lower metal eyelets to reduce pressure and irritation when wearing dive fins.

Fit & Sizing

OTB Boots fit true to size, similar to your typical US running shoe size.

For use with a dry suit, OTB recommends selecting a wide width and removing the footbed for the proper fit. The Future Foam midsole continues to provide cushioning when transitioning back onto land.
