We all know about Merino wool – so what’s so special about Bamboo? For starter’s Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing woody plant species on Earth. It naturally regrows on its own without fertilization or pesticides and can be harvested in as little as a year’s time. Major species of bamboo require minimal water for cultivation compared to water-intensive crops like cotton.  This lower water requirement for growth makes it a resource-conscious choice, particularly in regions facing water scarcity. 

Besides being environmentally friendly, bamboo fiber is naturally very porous and allows for air to flow freely in and out. This natural ventilation system allows bamboo fabric to be some of the world’s best thermal regulating fabric. When it’s cold, bamboo fabric traps body heat and keeps you warm without trapping sweat against your skin.  When it's hot, bamboo fabric wicks away moisture to allows for air flow to keep you cool. Bamboo is also an ideal choice for undergarments because it’s fibers can resist odor, providing a natural defense against microbial intruders. Its antibacterial properties allow it to resist mold and mildew as well. Bamboo fabric is naturally UV protectant without the use of chemicals, and that protection lasts no matter how many times you wash your clothing.

Material Composition:  67% Bamboo Rayon/ 28% Merino Wool/ 5% Spandex, 200gsm

Care Instructions: Turn inside out, machine wash gentle cycle on cold with like colors, skip the bleach, and line dry for best results or tumble dry low.

WARNING: High temperature washing and drying will destroy the stretch fibers in this fabric.
