Team Wendy was created in 1997, when Cleveland-based entrepreneur Dan. T. Moore tragically lost his daughter, Wendy, to a traumatic brain injury from a skiing accident. In her memory, Team Wendy began creating ski helmets that would protect and prevent such tragedies. Their cutting-edge designs and trustworthy helmets allowed a transition to design and development to others who also most need protection: military, law enforcement, search and rescue and the adventuring communities.

It has become Team Wendy's mission to develop and creating lead-edge products that serve to protect against serious and potentially life-threatening impact-related injuries. They've produced 6 million Zorbium® Action Pad helmet pad systems since 2005. In 2012, Team Wendy launched EXFIL® helmet platform, and today many high-profile teams and organizations in the United States and more than 55 nations worldwide are protected by Team Wendy helmet systems, including the U.S. Air Force Security Forces, the U.S. Army 10th Special Forces Group, FEMA, and many others.

Blending both comfort and the ultimate in impact-safety, the Air Combat Helmet Liner features Team Wendy's patented impact liner with integrated air channels and customizable comfort pads in various thicknesses that can fit nearly all combat helmets and communication headsets.

The original EXFIL® Ballistic SL helmets both feature hybrid composite shells for increased strength and a unique, more comfortable geometry for a better fit. Retention is easy and fast to conform to head shapes making this helmet even more stable and the Zorbium® foam liner not only protects but allows for overhead communications. Included is a lanyard compatible Wilcox® shroud that secures any standard NVG mount.

For a lighter weight option, the newest EXFIL® Ballistic SL helmet has a 15% weight reduction thanks to the newest technological advances by Team Wendy's composite shell. The same unique EXFIL® geometry for the best fit remains, featuring new EXFIL® Rail 3.0 accessory mounting, lighter than before, 35% weight reduced SL Shroud from Wilcox®, and many more features our customers expect and respect.
